Position Summary:
PTAs at Lifestyle Physical therapy will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality rehabilitation services. The PTA will assist in implementing individualized treatment plans to help patients improve mobility, manage pain, and regain functional independence in a positive, patient-centered environment.
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current ID state license or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Idaho
- CPR certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency or willingness to learn EMR documentation systems
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy treatments following an established plan of care
- Assist patients in exercise, functional training, and hands on treatment
- Monitor patient response to therapy and document progress to the PT
- Educate patients on body mechanics, posture, and home exercise programs
- Maintain a safe, organized, and clean environment
- Collaborate with all Physical Therapists, Physical Therapist Assistants, and all
other healthcare professionals in the clinic - Uphold clinic values, compliance standards, and patient confidentiality (HIPAA)
